What we look for:

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and passionate apprentices that would like to kick start their careers in a manufacturing engineering environment who are practically minded and can demonstrate their practical skills, either through their education, i.e. projects completed at school/college, or extracurricular activities, which can vary from making and building things to commitment to hobbies and interests.

The programme:

The duration and training provider will be determined by the apprenticeship chosen, which can be anything from 14 months to 36 months.  All apprenticeships will involve a split between on-the-job training and periodic block release at the Culham facilities.

The training provided will equip you with the skills required to further your career within either a maintenance, manufacturing or engineering environment.

For the Composites Manufacturing Engineer apprenticeship you will be given training in production engineering and productions cells, with a large proportion of time being spent within the Composites department, where you will learn Composite manufacturing and processes applicable to both marine, aerospace, automotive, formula 1, and other relevant industries.
