Engineering Apprentice

To gain the relevant skills and knowledge of multiple engineering subjects which will be demonstrated by the successful completion of an engineering apprenticeship. Supporting the engineering team to help deliver HSE & technical compliance and the site performance improvements by utilising the skills developed during the apprenticeship.

Role Purpose 

To gain the relevant skills and knowledge of multiple engineering subjects which will be demonstrated by the successful completion of an engineering apprenticeship.

Supporting the engineering team to help deliver HSE & technical compliance and the site performance improvements by utilising the skills developed during the apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

To complete and pass all academic and vocational qualifications as set out at the start of the apprenticeship.

Gain expertise in engineering practices within a food manufacturing environment to ensure compliance to food safety requirements at all times.

Working along side qualified engineers to complete all engineering activities across site, from production to facilities and utilities.

Completion of engineering projects to build competency in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and industrial controls.

Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed and to report any potential high risks or hazards.
