Construction of OAS Phase 2 moving ahead

It’s only three months since the new OAS building got the go-ahead but it’s already shaping up nicely thanks to excellent progress from contractors Midas Construction.

Steelwork on the structures is well advanced and the roof of the 3,800 square metre training workshop is on. Designs of the floor layouts and related infrastructure are currently being agreed between training provider AMTC and Midas.

Steve Hall of the OAS project team said: “We can really see the scale of the building taking shape now. This is going to be a flagship training facility for the hi-tech sector in this region – it’s exciting to imagine what it’s going to be like inside!”
